ARCHITECT@WORK Rotterdam shaping tomorrow
ARCHITECT@WORK Rotterdam once again brought together a broad audience of architects, interior architects, and other construction professionals on 9 and 10 September. For two days, Ahoy served as a hub for networking, knowledge sharing, and exploring new ideas for the future of the sector. The central theme, Regenerative Architecture, ran as a common thread throughout the programme and the various curated features, highlighting solutions that not only reduce environmental impact but can also actively contribute to a better living environment. This edition once again provided an inspiring setting to discover, learn, and look ahead to the future.

For the 11th edition of ARCHITECT@WORK Rotterdam, everything revolved around regenerative architecture, an approach to design that goes beyond sustainability alone. While sustainable building focuses on limiting negative impact, regenerative design aims to actively contribute to the restoration and strengthening of ecosystems, communities and natural resources.
